Hurricane Information
The Atlantic hurricane season lasts from June 1st to November 30th. New Jersey's tropical storm activity is typically between August and late October.
We encourage you to read through the “Hurricane Survival Guide for New Jersey,” and take the actions necessary to secure your family and home. The preparations you make for hurricanes will also help you survive all types of natural disasters.
Important News and Information
THEFT – On May 2, 2023, multiple residents throughout the Borough reported thefts of catalytic converters from their motor vehicles during the early morning hours. The perpetrators appear to be targeting late model Hondas.’ Thefts of these items have increased over the years due to the increase in price of the metals contained inside. The catalytic convertersare typically cut from the motor vehicle within minutes.

This “Crime Tips” feature allows residents to forward anonymous information to the Beachwood Police Department. Please be as specific as possible.
It is important to note that the police department cannot act on anonymous information alone, but will utilize the information as appropriate to further our efforts to reduce criminal activity in Beachwood.
This feature should not be utilized if the generation of a formal police report is desired.
